the time is now


and i intend to enjoy every bit of it...slowly, carefully-as if i were allowing an exotic, rich dark chocolate (with chilies, my favorite) to melt on my tongue and on the roof of my mouth, coating my palette with a lingering taste of beauty, a little piece of heaven.

thanks to a dear friend for reminding me to slow down and savor everything, that there is much time-even when it feels like there is not nearly enough, sometimes.


Final preparations today. Perpetual butterfies in stomach. Deep breaths.....
